Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the delivery of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful implementation on time, to quality, and to budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, schedule, direct, execute, maintain, and manage the Customer Relationships Management project using PRINCE2 and Agile project management methods.
  • Manage the CRM project through controlled initiation, delivery, and closure phases, implementing agreed best practices.
  • Ensure the development of all project documentation, including PID/Project Brief, Project Plans, Project Risk and Issue Management, Resource Plans, and Reporting documents.
  • Ensure that any IT requirements for the project are fully scoped, agreed, and delivered in conjunction with the IT Development Technician.
  • Manage dependencies and conflicts within and between individual projects.
  • Engage virtual project teams effectively across the IDTA.
  • Ensure that project progress is communicated effectively.
  • Identify, measure, and record risks, and ensure that adequate mitigation and contingency is in place.
  • Ensure that progress is analyzed and success measured to achieve controlled improvement and implementation.
  • Optimize the timing of the release and successful implementation of project deliverables into business.
  • Ensure that the objectives of the projects have been met.
  • Manage effective project closure, ensuring that all final documentation is completed and archived.
  • Undertake post-delivery and implementation reviews and conduct Lessons Learned.
  • Manage third-party suppliers to agreed project requirements, ensuring time, budget, and scope/quality control (where necessary).
  • Work with budget holders to negotiate and manage project budgets, contracts, and SLAs, establishing cost benefit and sound commercial outcomes.
  • Track project spend against agreed budgets for all areas of a project.
  • Communicate and facilitate resolution for issues or risks related to project over- or under-spend.
  • Ensure balance of budget, time, and quality is managed on all projects.
  • Implement and manage comprehensive reporting structures as appropriate to ensure full visibility of project progress and capture and management of issues and risks.
  • Keep up to date on project management developments, trends, and best practices outside IDTA, considering how to make use of new insights in own role.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of software, infrastructure, and application development projects.
  • Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), product acceptance, and change request processes.
  • Experience of working in the Membership Management space.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure (Servers, Networks, Storage, Cloud, and Security).
  • Knowledge of IT Applications (Dynamics 365/CRM, Websites, Office, and O365, and Operating Systems).
  • Knowledge and use of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to explain technical terminology commonly used in own area of work for a range of audiences.
  • Experience of working on multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity to meet targets and timescales, demonstrating a pragmatic approach to delivery.
  • Ability to use own initiative to achieve objectives within specified time frames with minimal supervision.
  • Solution experience of CRM, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Web Portals/Websites.
  • Web Content Management Systems.
  • Data Migration and Cleansing.
  • Basic DBS.
  • Office-based 9am to 4.30pm.
