Ecological Project Manager

We are looking for a skilled Ecologist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exciting projects that benefit people and the planet. Your expertise in ecological management will be essential in ensuring that our infrastructure developments are environmentally responsible and compliant with relevant regulations.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading ecological assessments, developing and implementing mitigation strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Your strong communication and project management skills will enable you to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive projects forward.

As an Ecological Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from water supply and wastewater treatment works to transportation and energy infrastructure. You will be supported by a talented team of professionals who share your passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus a fantastic benefits package, including pension contribution matched up to 10%. Our vibrant and inclusive company culture values diversity and promotes equal opportunities for all employees.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead ecological assessments and develop mitigation strategies for infrastructure projects

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Ecology or related field
  • Proven experience in ecological management and project coordination
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards
