Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax & Payroll Assistant to join our team at Edwards & Pearce. As a Tax & Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Tax department with various tasks, including payroll processing, tax compliance, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process multiple payrolls per week and month
  • Provide holiday cover when needed
  • Assist the Tax Manager with the running of the Tax department
  • Work predominantly on Tax compliance work
  • Prepare self-assessment returns for sole traders, partnerships, landlords, director/shareholders, etc.
  • Prepare forms P11d
  • Respond to routine tax queries

Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive and have your own car
  • 3+ years of experience working in a practice
  • Experience with Brightpay
