Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Spencer & James Recruitment is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Planned Works projects within the social housing sector.


As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the project's commercial aspects, overseeing a Commercial Assistant, preparing monthly CVR's / VCR's, submitting client applications, and handling commercial reports.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Management: Prepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) and progress reports to ensure efficient cost control and maximize project value.
  • Valuations & Cash Flow: Coordinate with stakeholders to agree on external valuations and manage cash flow to enhance project value.
  • Final Accounts: Work alongside the Commercial Manager to finalize main and subcontract accounts.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience at a Main Contractor working on Planned Works projects.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality social housing Planned Works contracts.
