Job Title: Regional HSE Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional HSE Manager to lead the implementation of strategic HSE planning and deployment initiatives across Europe. The successful candidate will work closely with other functions to develop efficient HSE reporting systems and drive HSE efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement the HSE Management system into facilities, ensuring compliance with global and local HSE policies.
  2. Develop a strong HSE culture and understanding of the HSE system and process among field teams.
  3. Maintain contacts with the Global HSE team, providing input and direction on procedure development, training programs, global HSE objectives, and targets.
  4. Motivate and evaluate the performance of HSE (in)direct reports, collating employee development programs and initiatives.
  5. Support HSE teams in necessary HSE requirements, ensuring a sustainable HSE culture across all facilities.
  6. Work with other business functions to drive efficiencies in HSE reporting systems, identify potential for risk-based management and automation improvements.
  7. Provide guidance and direction in HSE compliance, sharing best practices.
  8. Participate in the company internal HSE audit program, performing facility inspections and assessments to verify HSE management system compliance.
  9. Assist in the completion of HSE elements within operational tenders and contracts process, liaising with customers, contractors, and regulatory bodies on HSE issues.
  10. Develop staff competencies in policies/procedures, risk assessment, project management, and communication.
  11. Participate and lead incident investigations, as applicable, and prepare and issue HSE Alerts.

Requirements:
  1. Comply with Global and Local HSE policies.
  2. Behave in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with NOV Corporate policies.
  3. Working hours to be identified with line manager.
  4. Expectations to provide support/guidance within normal working hours.
  5. Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels within the organization.

Education and Experience:
  1. HSE Managers Qualifications preferably NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent.
  2. Or a degree and HSE NEBOSH General Certificate, understanding of HSE compliance.
  3. Lead Auditor trained.
  4. Over 10 years' experience as a Regional Manager.
