About the Role:

We are seeking a Commercial Growth Director to lead our Partnerships team in WHSmith Travel. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and improve commercial performance.

Main Objectives:
  1. Analyze commercial performance data to inform business decisions.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and agree sales, waste, availability, and margin targets with partnership teams.
  • Action key changes to supply chain and ranging to improve margin and sales.
  • Participate in key trading meetings and forums to articulate commercial performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in commercial leadership roles, with a focus on business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive clear actions from data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships.
