Land Acquisition Manager

We are seeking an experienced Land Manager to join our team at Tdm Recruitment. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring land for development in the south east region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of buying sites in kent, south london, surrey and sussex, and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the planning application and appeals process.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing off-market land for purchase in key areas
  • Managing and updating the letter-writing process to effectively target areas
  • Liaising and negotiating with landowners and agents of potential purchases
  • Overseeing legal, planning and design consultants pre and post-acquisition
  • Keeping up to date with town planning policy and specifically in key areas

Expected qualifications and experiences include:

  • Degree qualified in a property-related field
  • Proven track record of sourcing and acquiring land in the south east region
  • Experience working for a national residential developer or high-profile investor or agency
  • Detailed understanding of the planning application and appeals process
  • Strong network of contacts in the land agency world
  • Determined, hungry and ambitious individual with the ability to work autonomously
