Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Consultant in Clinical Oncology to join our dynamic team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a specialist interest in prostate seed brachytherapy and will be responsible for maintaining the highest clinical standards in the management of urological and breast cancers.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties will include participating in complex radiotherapy planning and treatment techniques, including prostate seed brachytherapy, and delivering systemic therapy. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to recruit to and participate in clinical trials, take an active role in the design of original clinical trials and studies, and supervise undergraduates, junior doctors, and other staff.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice. They must also be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have CCT or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.
