Transforming Early Years Services

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Early Years Sufficiency and Access team. As a key member of the Children, Education, and Families Directorate, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality early education services to young children across the county.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of six officers to effectively deliver early education funding to private, voluntary, and independent providers.
  • Overseeing the distribution and audit of early education and childcare entitlements in line with statutory requirements.
  • Developing new systems, IT, and business processes to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Empowering team members to work autonomously and make decisions that drive service improvement.
