Account Manager

DNA Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Account Manager to support our clients' teams in Stockton on Tees. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and managing customer expectations primarily through phone interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, building strong relationships
- Manage new and existing customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Provide detailed information about our client and its products, facilitating customer orders and system updates
- Oversee the order-to-invoice process for import/export of goods, ensuring seamless transactions
- Resolve customer issues by clarifying information, contacting suppliers, and implementing effective solutions
- Review customer orders to ensure accuracy and communicate updates to customers
- Ensure timely and comprehensive customer correspondence, including invoice delivery
- Achieve and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), suggesting and implementing improvements
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering long-term partnerships
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in account management is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service experience in an office environment
- Knowledge of logistics/transportation
- Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and following up on issues
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, handling difficult customer interactions
- Ability to learn quickly and adhere to procedures
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment
