Job Overview

DNA Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Account Manager to support our clients' teams in Stockton on Tees. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and managing customer expectations primarily through phone interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, building strong relationships
  • Manage new and existing customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Provide detailed information about our client and its products, facilitating customer orders and system updates
  • Oversee the order-to-invoice process for import/export of goods, ensuring seamless transactions
  • Resolve customer issues by clarifying information, contacting suppliers, and implementing effective solutions
  • Review customer orders to ensure accuracy and communicate updates to customers
  • Ensure timely and comprehensive customer correspondence, including invoice delivery
  • Achieve and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), suggesting and implementing improvements
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering long-term partnerships
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in account management is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer service experience in an office environment
  • Knowledge of logistics/transportation
  • Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and following up on issues
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, handling difficult customer interactions
  • Ability to learn quickly and adhere to procedures
  • Capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment
