Salary
The salary for this role is estimated to be between £20,800 and £25,000 per annum, paid on a weekly basis (£400-£500). This is a competitive rate for a Psychology Graduate looking to enter the teaching assistant profession.

Job Description
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is based in a friendly and inclusive school in Tower Hamlets, renowned for its exceptional learning environment. As a Psychology Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work alongside qualified professionals, including SEN specialists and educational psychologists. Your key responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and group support for students with varying Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs. You will also support the class teacher in delivering tailored lesson plans and class materials, promoting emotional well-being and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a first-class or 2:1 degree in Psychology from a top 20 UK university. Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable, but not essential. You must be able to maintain a calm and measured approach to diffuse situations, promoting a safe and supportive environment for students.
