Senior Quantity Surveyor Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Edmonton, United Kingdom.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation, ensuring project financial efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, considering various factors.
- Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting throughout project lifecycles, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, leveraging expertise in construction regulations and best practices.
- Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets, minimizing financial risks and maximizing returns.
- Identify and assess commercial risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met, delivering exceptional results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, preferably from a reputable institution.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry, demonstrating leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices, with proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work under pressure.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
- A full UK driving license, enabling easy travel to project sites.
