**Job Title:** SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an unqualified SEN teaching assistant to support students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a top-performing school. This role is ideal for individuals who want to work in a school setting but lack prior experience.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Support the student in their academic and personal needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans tailored to the student's requirements
  • Provide emotional and social support to the student
  • Create a conducive learning environment that promotes engagement and participation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An online DBS check
  • Previous experience working with SEN students
  • Previous experience in a school setting (informal or formal)
Working Hours and Conditions

This full-time position requires a commitment of Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and all applicants will undergo a satisfactory enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
