Senior Financial Analyst

Biffa Waste Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and reliable financial information to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including monthly account reconciliations and regional period-end close.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for cost reduction and profit enhancement.
- Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to support business growth and objectives.
- Financial Control: Ensure adherence to financial controls and processes, including financial policies and procedures.
- Leadership: Lead and manage a team of financial analysts to achieve business objectives.
- Qualifications: Qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification.
- Experience: Management accounting experience, ideally in the service, logistics, or waste industries.
- Skills: Advanced Excel skills, excellent analytical skills, and experience with Power BI and project management.
