Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. As a key member of our research team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of health inequalities in England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct epidemiological analysis of electronic health records to identify trends and patterns in health inequalities.
  • Design and implement surveys of staff and patients to gather data on health outcomes and behaviors.
  • Analyze data to detect biases in recruitment and reporting, and develop strategies to mitigate these biases.
  • Supervise a research fellow working on predicting the burden of infectious diseases.
  • Collaborate with a team of researchers from LSHTM, QMUL, Bristol, and Oxford Universities to advance our research goals.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
  • Expertise in electronic health records analysis and a proven track record of leading research studies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
