Supporting Students with SEN

We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to support students across Maths, English, and Science at a secondary school in Denton, Manchester. The ideal candidate will be competent to help students achieve their full potential in core subjects.
Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN needs in core subjects: Maths, English, and Science.
- Work closely with students to promote engagement, build confidence, and encourage academic progress.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff and school leaders.
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Maths, English, and Science up to GCSE Level.
- Experience supporting students with a range of learning needs, including ASC, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, SEMH, and behaviour that challenges.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
