About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead to join our Pharmacy Department at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our senior pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to surgical wards, developing and implementing medicines policies and systems, and providing leadership and supervision to Foundation Pharmacists and Band 6/7 Clinical Pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver the day-to-day clinical pharmacy service to surgical wards through a team approach across the service.
  • Develop and implement medicines policies and systems, working closely with the Chief and Deputy Chief Pharmacists.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to Foundation Pharmacists and Band 6/7 Clinical Pharmacists, including mentoring and line management.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Trust's Medicines policies, systems, and processes.
  • Act as a senior leader within the pharmacy department, deputising for the Chief/Deputy Chief pharmacist as required.
