About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Emergency Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Emergency Medicine
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of our Emergency Department
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
