Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Automotive Customer Focused Engineer to join our team at Expleo Group UK Jobs. This role involves conducting market studies to investigate customer requirements, behaviors, and latest technologies in the automotive industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining customer requirements, establishing customer target requirements, analyzing European automotive market trends, and producing market reports. Additionally, they will create documentation in response to customer use cases and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define requirements from a customer's point of view
  • Establish customer target requirements, including in-vehicle infotainment systems, storage solutions, controls, switches, and displays
  • Analyze European automotive market trends and customer usage patterns
  • Produce market reports and benchmark reports
  • Create documentation in response to customer use cases and needs

Requirements:

  • Degree-educated
  • Experience within the automotive industry
  • Customer-focused with knowledge of European driving and car usage behavior
  • Understanding of vehicle development and performance
  • Appreciation and knowledge of usability and ergonomic principles
  • Microsoft Office skills

A full driving license valid for driving in the UK is essential, and flexibility to travel is required. Right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are eligible to work within the UK. We are unable to support candidates requiring sponsorship.
