We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Oakhill Recruitment.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small company, managing all aspects of finance, including sales and purchase ledgers, payroll, pensions, year-end accounts, management accounts, and other financial duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Administer payroll, including processing salaries, benefits, and taxes
  • Oversee pension schemes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and submit year-end accounts, as well as regular management accounts
  • Produce one-off reports for directors, providing insights into the company's financial performance
  • Support the development and maintenance of costing models and profitability analysis

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or equivalent, with experience working in a similar role. We offer a competitive salary of around £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
