We are recruiting a skilled Class 2 Night Driver for a temp to perm position with one of our clients based in Dagenham.

Job Overview

M4 Recruitment, a specialist recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced HGV multigrade driver to join our client's team. As a night driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations across the UK, working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a HGV vehicle safely and efficiently to various locations, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pick up and deliver goods to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Conduct vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Work collaboratively with the loading team to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid C1 or C driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
  • A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC).
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
  • A valid digital tachograph card.
  • To be physically fit and able to pass a drug and alcohol test.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £18.25 per hour, with the opportunity to earn overtime at £27 per hour. As a multigrade driver, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of routes and tasks, developing your skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.
