Job Description

This is a permanent position in our Inverness office. The successful candidate will have significant recent experience in all civil-related design aspects of large-scale logistics development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Significant recent experience in all civil-related design aspects of large-scale logistics development projects.
  • Experience in highways, external works, earthworks modelling and drainage for commercial sector projects.
  • Highway and drainage design and bulk earthworks modelling with a working knowledge of UK design standards.
  • Manage projects, attend meetings and liaise with clients, design teams, and third-party representatives.
  • Proven report writing (FRA, drainage strategy, specification, Technical Notes etc.)
  • Private sector experience and a working knowledge in the use of Civil3D, Causeway Flow & Microdrainage, Autocad, Autotrack (vehicle swept path analysis) and Navisworks.
  • Experience in producing designs that can be incorporated to BIM Level 2 status.
  • Ability to undertake 3D coordination with the design team.

  • Familiarity with UK design standards and industry-leading software.
