We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Collections and Recoveries Programme in the banking industry. This is a 12-month fixed contract role, working Monday to Friday with an annual salary of £50,000.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and delivering the Collections & Recoveries Programme. You will work closely with a team of IT and Business programme resources to deliver business outcomes through this transformational programme.

You will have responsibility for handling budget, reporting, programme dependencies, and interlocks, as well as supplier engagement.

Key Qualities for the Role:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of change programmes delivering best practices across Consumer Finance, including retail banking, secured lending, and small and medium enterprise businesses
  • Proficient in project management principles and tools
  • Outcome and results-focused with a consistent track record of execution
  • Strong understanding of regulatory landscape, requirements, and PRA and FCA expectations of a UK bank
  • Lead as a subject matter authority of collections and recoveries to enhance and strengthen the control/risk environment
  • Exceptional leadership and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data to inform key decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present to senior partners
