Sales and Marketing Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead our sales and marketing efforts in Birmingham. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives and sales team management.

About the Role

In this prestigious Sales and Marketing Director role, you will be working closely with our leadership team to optimise current sales and marketing efforts and grow the business. With a large number of products and good historical data, there are plenty of opportunities for fast growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive business growth
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and improve sales conversion rates
  • Manage and grow the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across the marketing mix, including ecommerce, social media, and showroom marketing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing role, preferably in a UK retailer
  • Ability to uplift profitability through sales and marketing initiatives
  • Related industry experience in retail, with ecommerce and showroom sales to the public and trade
  • First-line sales management experience, including leading successful teams and setting targets/KPIs
  • Deep understanding of traditional marketing mix as well as digital marketing
  • Willingness to commute to Birmingham, West Midlands 5 days per week
