Description: We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Upfront Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and estimating, with the ability to prepare tender submissions from first principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with commercial and procurement colleagues to identify sub-contractor packages, prepare enquiries, and interrogate returns to select suppliers.
Contributing to the risk review/assessment process where required.
Supporting and coaching more junior members of the team.
Requirements:
Contractual and commercial awareness, with the ability to understand and interpret drawings and other construction information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting, successful relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
