About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary school in Rainham. The successful candidate will work within a Year 4 Class, providing support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and providing individual support to pupils with SEN
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support the teacher in managing challenging behavior and developing strategies for pupil engagement
  • Contribute to the development of pupil learning plans and progress tracking
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver lessons and activities
Requirements
  • Experience working as an LSA/SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Holding a L2 or L3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with children with SEN within an education, pastoral, or personal setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Right to work in the UK
