At Willis Towers Watson, we are seeking a highly skilled Pension Administration Specialist to join our team in Redhill, Leeds or Welwyn. As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will take on more advanced calculations and complex schemes (DB and/or DC) and play a vital role in mentoring and checking the work of junior colleagues.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a benefits package that includes opportunities for progression and professional development. Our hybrid working model allows you to balance remote and in-person interactions, dependent on the needs of the team, role and clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Working within an administration team, servicing both member and client queries in relation to DB and some DC pension schemes.
  • In conjunction with the Team Leader, ensuring that all service level agreements and performance standards are achieved.
  • Deputising in the absence of the Team Leader.

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Be a senior point of reference on technical issues and non-standard cases.
  • Train, support and mentor junior colleagues and hold regular feedback sessions.
  • Assist in more complex/project work when required, including complaints.
  • Continuously seek to identify areas where the service to clients/members could be improved and communicate findings to the Team Leader.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of administering occupational pension schemes.
  • Experience of coaching and supporting less experienced colleagues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload.
