We are working with Blackthorne Consulting Ltd, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, to find a talented Electrical Design Engineer with a passion for innovative building design and sustainable solutions to join their Building Services team in the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects across various sectors, working alongside a team of skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team to develop electrical designs and solutions for building services projects.
  • Prepare electrical calculations, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating innovative technologies and sustainable practices into designs.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer in building services or a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation software.
