The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving commercial success and shaping the future of our organization. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business prospects within the Data Centre sector, collaborating closely with our cross-functional team to exceed customer expectations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting market and competitive benchmark data and regularly reviewing with management teams
  • Participating in the preparation of necessary documents for inclusion in tender submissions, including site visits
  • Ensuring effective marketing, offer submission, customer follow-ups, and negotiations leading to successful acquisition of orders
  • Developing new and existing businesses, promoting the company's full range of products to Tier 1 & 2 Contractors and Architects
  • Actively promoting products through seminars, promotions, presentations, exhibitions, and similar
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a driven and talented Sales Professional with a deep understanding of construction and interior fit-outs, ideally data centre infrastructure. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possess a proven track record in technical sales. You will lead our sales efforts for Europe, leveraging your expertise to tailor solutions that exceed client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A third-level qualification in Sales and Marketing, Business, or Engineering
  • Solid and stable experience within a technical sales role, preferably in construction
  • An adaptive and strategic approach to sales
  • A highly collaborative approach, utilizing the Tate team to ensure client success
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Good understanding of Salesforce
  • A level of commercial and contractual awareness
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude and a collaborative team player, eager to jump in with flexibility for some travel as and when required
