About the Role

WM Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers and clients in a variety of legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and consider papers received on instruction, obtaining documentary evidence as necessary.
  • Manage daily client contact and case management, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Draft and prepare legal and court documents, including hearing bundles and external instructions.
  • Conduct thorough research and provide accurate and timely updates to clients.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documents, utilizing internal electronic systems to progress cases.
  • Provide exceptional administrative support, including case and general administration.
Ideal Candidate
  • Hold a strong academic background, preferably with a 2:1 degree and postgraduate LPC/BPTC qualification.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of strong legal experience, preferably in civil, commercial, and/or financial litigation, banking, or finance.
  • Be able to manage a varied workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Possess excellent research, administration, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Have a firm understanding of GDPR and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Required Qualifications
  • Strong legal experience (minimum 1 year).
  • Minimum of 2:1 degree with postgraduate LPC/BPTC preferred.
  • Finance, commercial, or civil litigation experience.
  • Proven experience of managing own caseloads.
