Sustainability Career Development Officer Job Description

We are seeking an organised, self-starting Sustainability Career Development Officer to join our policy team at Scottish Renewables. The successful candidate will have a passion for sustainability and a commitment to the growth of renewable energy in Scotland.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Head of Economics and Markets in developing in-house expertise on economics and markets policy in Scotland and the UK, plus the wider European and global context in which it sits
  • Assisting Scottish Renewables' work on the economics of renewable energy and electricity market arrangements
  • Monitoring and influencing relevant legislative, regulatory and policy measures to create the optimum environment for the growth and development of the renewables industry in Scotland

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification, excellent communication skills, and experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary:** £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

**Location:** Glasgow / Hybrid
