About the Role

Fleet Tutors is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Tutor to join our team of professional educators. As a Tutor with Fleet Tutors, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young learners throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create Engaging Lesson Plans: Develop and deliver tuition that is designed to engage, inspire, and teach your learners.
  • Monitor Progress and Provide Feedback: Regularly monitor your learners' progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Guardians/Teachers: Work closely with your learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Location: Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • DBS Check: Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • Safeguarding: A commitment to safeguarding.
  • SEN Experience: Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex needs.
