Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Department Practitioner to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing care needs, planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality nursing care in our busy theatres.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the safe and efficient running of the operating theatre department, ensuring accurate records are kept and adhering to HCPC guidelines and Trust policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing care needs and planning individualized care plans
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients
- Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical and professional standards
- Ensuring safe administration and documentation of drugs
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the safe and efficient running of the operating theatre department
