We are seeking an experienced Nighttime Support Assistant to join our team in Carlisle. As a Nighttime Support Assistant, you will work with older adults in residential care homes and Extra Care settings, providing emotional and practical support during nighttime hours. Your role will involve promoting independence, maintaining dignity, and encouraging inclusion among service users, some of whom live with dementia.

Your responsibilities will include supporting residents with personal care needs, household tasks, medication management, diet and nutrition, healthy living, and social activities. To succeed in this role, you must possess a high level of understanding and empathy to support individuals with dementia. A strong focus on teamwork and effective communication is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £23,000 per annum for this Relief Support Worker position, which allows for flexible scheduling to suit your needs. This arrangement is perfect for balancing personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities.
