**Job Overview**

Vallum Associates is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about ensuring quality standards in the construction industry.

About the Role

This role will involve auditing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements;
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and address quality issues;
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their quality needs and develop strategies to meet them;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality procedures and guidelines;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on quality metrics and performance indicators;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in quality management;
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of HNC qualification in a relevant discipline such as Quality Management, Construction, or Project Management;
  • Be a Practitioner member of the Chartered Quality Institute with an aspiration to gain Chartered status;
  • Have experience working in the construction industry with a focus on quality management;
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels;
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel to client sites when necessary;
  • Be flexible and able to prioritize tasks as directed by the Quality and Assurance Manager and Project Manager.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Audit to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements;
  • Knowledge of ISO 55001:2014, ISO 44001:2017, and other relevant industry standards;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, planning, and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to work with IT software packages such as Microsoft Office.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
