Role Overview

As a Digital Transformation Specialist at Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Public Sector Transport Vertical. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, develop, and close deals with new and existing customers, helping them achieve their digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new leads for all Salesforce products and services
  • Develop and nurture relationships with senior customer stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and digital transformation challenges
  • Position Salesforce's solutions as the best way to address customers' outstanding needs and drive business growth
  • Build compelling presentations and proposals that optimally communicate the value proposition of Salesforce's Digital solutions
  • Lead a virtual internal team to build a roadmap and strategic plan for each account, bringing them into the sales process whenever possible
  • Negotiate and close deals, securing new business and growing customer relationships
  • Lead a pipeline of opportunities, supervising progress and providing accurate forecasting
  • Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring customer success and improving the value they derive from Salesforce's solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies to effectively advise customers and deliver innovative solutions

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an AE or Sales Representative in the technology industry, with a proven record of success in identifying, developing, and closing deals
  • Strong understanding of the UK Transport ecosystem and the complexities involved in working with each individual organisation
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce solutions, with the ability to articulate their benefits and applications to potential customers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers at all levels, from technical guides to business decision-makers
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to secure new business and expand customer relationships
  • A results-oriented attitude with a passion for driving growth and achieving ambitious goals
  • A positive, can-do approach to activity that drives energy and enthusiasm across the virtual team
