Job Opportunity: Elections and Local Land Charges Officer

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Elections and Local Land Charges Officer. This is a rare opportunity to gain valuable experience at the heart of the Council's democratic and regulatory process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximise electoral registration and assist with running local and UK-wide elections
  • Ensure searches of our local authority property databases are carried out to the highest standards
  • Contribute to the team's efforts to maximise electoral registration and ensure the smooth running of elections
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 GCSE's, including English Language and Mathematics, at a minimum of Grade C/4
  • Ideally educated to A-Level, hold Level 3 qualifications or demonstrate an equivalent level of work experience
  • Ability to interpret maps at various scales (useful but not essential)
