Tanker Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Tanker Maintenance Technician to join our team at Whale Tankers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, with experience working on vacuum and jetting systems.
Salary: £33,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package, including overtime premiums, a holiday bonus scheme, and private medical insurance.
About the Role:This is a full-time permanent position based in Peterborough, with a focus on servicing and repairing both Whale tankers and non-Whale tanker equipment. As a Tanker Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for identifying faults, diagnosing repairs, and running up of tanker equipment to test repairs or to fault find.
You will also be required to complete all paperwork in a timely manner, to the required level of detail, and support the branch manager to ensure the facility meets expected standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Experience working with vacuum and jetting systems
- Strong mechanical maintenance skills, including vehicle electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and general mechanical maintenance
- Fault finding skills and excellent communication skills
- Overtime premiums paid at 1.5x and 2x basic rate for out of hours working
- Quarterly participation in employee bonus scheme based on company performance
