About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation and Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team at Actemium Automation Nottingham.

As a Senior Automation and Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, testing, and commissioning control systems to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers and internal design/management teams to deliver control systems that meet customer needs.
  • Design and test control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Provide technical supervision of system design, build, and installation personnel.
  • Lead the commissioning of control systems at customers' premises.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Hold a degree in Electrical or related field.
  • Have a high level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
  • Have a strong understanding of technical project life cycle.
  • Have good time management skills, with a structured and methodical approach to work.
  • Have a good appreciation of industrial software controls systems.

  • A competitive base salary between £50,000 - £60,000 (experience dependent).
