The Emerald Group is looking for a talented Capital Optimization Associate to join our team in London. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a critical role in contributing to the determination, management and optimization of regulatory and economic capital and liquidity requirements for companies in the UK Division.

**Role Overview:**
This position involves supporting the production and review of methodology used to determine regulatory capital requirements, ensuring that it is implemented appropriately in models and results produced for regulatory reporting purposes. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of capital and liquidity plans, including Stress and Scenario Testing (SST) analyses, capital projections and sensitivities on a range of capital metrics.

**Responsibilities:**
• Support the production and review of methodology used to determine regulatory capital requirements.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of capital and liquidity plans, including Stress and Scenario Testing (SST) analyses, capital projections and sensitivities on a range of capital metrics.
• Reports to the Head of Capital and Liquidity.
• Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent).
• Strong technical skills including either financial reporting or Solvency II knowledge/experience.
• Good understanding of the UK regulatory environment.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
