Welcome to the role of Vocational Learning Facilitator, where you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality training and development programs that empower students to achieve their full potential.

As a Vocational Learning Facilitator with The Growth Company (GC) Education and Skills team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students. With a focus on maximizing learning outcomes, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement innovative training programs that meet the evolving needs of businesses and individuals.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments to ensure students are placed on the right program and receive the necessary support, fostering a culture of inclusivity and accessibility.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to design and develop training programs that cater to individual requirements, promoting differentiation and personal growth.
  3. Leverage technology to enhance the learning experience, incorporating new tools and platforms such as SoL-VE and webinars to meet the demands of the modern learner.
  4. Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions that motivate and inspire learners, encouraging them to stay on program and achieve their goals.
  5. Ensure the safe evacuation of students in emergency situations, adhering to established company procedures and promoting a culture of health and safety.
  6. Prepare students for assignments, exams, and assessments, contributing to high success rates and a culture of achievement.
  7. Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and set development objectives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who can bring their expertise and passion for vocational education to this role. Key qualities and skills required include:

  • Excellent IT skills, with the ability to effectively utilize technology to support learning delivery.
  • Motivational and inspiring, with a proven track record of engaging learners and promoting a culture of success.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A teaching qualification, such as PGCE, PGDE, Cert Ed, or DTLLS.
  • Industry experience in a specialist area, with a strong understanding of vocational education and training.
  • Experience of teaching and learning quality standards, particularly Ofsted.
  • At least 1-2 years' teaching experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs.
