The Role

As Quality Auditor Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all quality assurance activities for the shift. You will liaise with production, hygiene, and engineering to ensure technical issues and non-conformances are understood and necessary actions are taken.

  • Manage a small team of QAs during the shift.
  • Manage staff discipline, work performance, and absence issues.
  • Review and follow up on all non-conformances and issues raised by the team during the shift to ensure satisfactory corrective action has been taken.
  • Identify reoccurring issues or issues not satisfactorily addressed within agreed timescales and communicate these to the QA and Technical Manager.

Requirements:

  • Advanced food hygiene required.
  • RIPH Level 2 or equivalent Intermediate Certificate in Applied HACCP Principles is desirable.
  • Experience in a technical role within food manufacturing is necessary.
  • Competent in written English and Maths.
