About the Opportunity

  • Manage a team of quality assurance specialists during shifts, ensuring effective coordination and execution of quality activities.
  • Liaise with production, hygiene, and engineering teams to address technical issues and non-conformances.
  • Identify trends and ongoing issues, discussing them with QA and Technical Managers to drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Lead small teams of QAs during shifts, managing staff discipline, work performance, and absence issues.
  • Ensure all non-conformances and issues raised by the team are addressed through review or re-auditing.
  • Communicate reoccurring issues or unresolved matters to QA and Technical Managers.

Requirements

">
  • Advanced food hygiene certification (minimum requirement).
  • RIPH Level 2 or equivalent Intermediate Certificate in Applied HACCP Principles (desirable).
  • Experience in a technical role within food manufacturing (preferably chilled but not essential).
  • Competent in written English and Maths.
