About the Company

Hays Senior Finance is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Management Accountant to join a well-established group in the finance sector. This is a key contract role for 6 months, working closely with the financial accounting team.

About the Role

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of month-end financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, journals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will be working closely with the Financial Controller and will be using a range of systems, primarily SAP and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet
  • Support with fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Collaboration with the financial accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Development and maintenance of financial models and reports

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Part-qualified or qualified accounting experience (QBE also accepted)
  • Proven experience in preparing management accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
