About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Children's Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with varied and complex difficulties.
- Work as a member of a team, liaising with health, education, and social services to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service.
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment programs for children with diverse presentations and complex physical conditions.
- Supervise, educate, and assess the performance of students, working with universities to ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by the degree-level qualification.
- Undertake evidence-based audit and research projects to further own and team's clinical practice within each rotation.

Person Specification
Essential
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
- Membership of RCOT.
- Evidence of continuous and current clinical, professional, leadership, and academic development relevant to clinical fields.
- Clinical Educators/Field worker course or equivalent.
Desirable
- Upper limb intervention training, Constraint Induced Movement therapy, Bimanual Therapy.
Knowledge

- Knowledge of a range of relevant conditions and their management related to this clinical area.
