Family Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family First Worker to join our team at East Renfrewshire Council. As a Family First Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families to access universal support and services within the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with families to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans.
- Provide guidance and support to families to access local services and resources.
- Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting families.
- Conduct home visits and community outreach to engage with families and promote services.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children and families in a support or advisory capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local services and resources.
