About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our East Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS) in Brighton & Hove. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist medical and psychiatric assessments and evidence-based treatment to patients with complex and unstable mental health needs.

Main Duties
  • Provide clinical supervision to the HST and informal advice and supervision to non-medical members of the team.
  • Fulfil the duties of Responsible Clinician for patients subject to Community Treatment Orders, including attendance at Managers Hearings and Tribunals.
  • Liaise with inpatient Responsible Clinicians, the forensic team, drug and alcohol services, and risk panels as required.
