We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Joiner to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services, working in social housing settings to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services.
About the Role
As a Carpenter / Joiner, you will be responsible for carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties, undertaking a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work, including minor plumbing, patch plastering, window/door lock changes, and all aspects of joinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work to social housing properties, ensuring high-quality results and excellent customer experience.
- Work efficiently and safely, adhering to best practices and company policies.
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing 24/7 support for emergency repairs.
- Use a handheld device to receive and complete assigned tasks, with full training provided.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification, excellent working H & S knowledge, and a passion for delivering high-quality repairs on time, first time.
Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification (City and Guilds).
- Excellent working H & S knowledge.
- Valid full or automatic UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).
