SQL Database Administrator

This is a key position within our company, Big Red Recruitment Midlands Limited, where you will be responsible for the administration of our complex database estate. As a skilled SQL Server professional, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including problem resolution, performance tuning, security, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. You will also be responsible for implementing new database solutions and migrating existing ones. This is a remote-based role, with occasional travel to our offices. You will be part of a high-calibre support team, where you will have the opportunity to grow your skillset and learn new technologies.
The ideal candidate will have strong MS SQL Server database administration experience, as well as experience with HA/DR and SQL Server AlwaysON. T-SQL and SSIS experience is also essential. Azure experience is desirable, as is a good understanding of C#.Net. If you are a skilled problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we would like to hear from you.
