We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Mechanical Systems and Project Engineer at BMW Group Plant Hams Hall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all facilities and processes are in place to support new engine variants and technical upgrades to new model introduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design specifications, purchasing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Using support systems for data management and analysis, including programming and the creation of visualisation software.
- Facility management, including update and upgrade of facilities for process improvement activities.
- Supporting Engineer with project management activities, including leading project review meetings and managing the expedition of tasks.
- Preparing process documentation.
- Verifying Test and measurement data by being able to discern measurement results and plan next steps.
- Supporting and sometimes leading technical investigations to support area goals and come up with resolutions for problems.
Requirements:
- Studying towards a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics) and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above.
- Industrial experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- A systematic approach to problem solving.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work diligently as an individual, with minimum supervision, or as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills (in particular Excel, PowerPoint etc).

- A competitive annual salary of £24,950, 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract) and an attractive pension scheme.
- Contracted working hours are 39 hours a week, with a half day on a Friday, helping you develop a fulfilling work-life balance.
